FrankenFly at Three Rivers Fly Fishers Club Meeting

I will be at the October 15th club meeting of the Three Rivers Fly Fishers in Fort Wayne, Indiana this Thursday. I want to thank them for inviting me up to speak and tie at their meeting. I’m really looking forward to it and look forward to meeting more of the folks in their club! See below the club’s newsletter excerpt for a little more detail.

Paul Beel will be putting on the program for Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Classic Café. Paul will be talking about Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass Fishing in his area and tying up some Bass Flies. Paul has his own Fly Fishing/Fly Tying Business, FrankenFly, and I would encourage you to get on his website, and check it out. It is a very interesting website and very, very, informative. I am sure he would love to take an order and drop it off on the 15th. I placed mine several months ago. Paul tied at our show last year and is a super nice guy, fly fisherman, fly tyer, fly designer, and family man.

(Also, I want to make a quick note that this Thursday is the final day to enter photos for the Bucket Mouth League photo contest. See this post for more.)

I want to thank Paul for a great program that he had for us at the Three Rivers Flyfishers meeting last night. I am not a Bass fisher, but greatly enjoyed his tying demonstration on a number of his ties. He gave us a background story on each fly and how he fished it. For more info on our club check out Three Rivers Fly Fishers-Fort Wayne on FB, or Thank you again Paul,
